Parallel to university education, I am involved in various projects. Especially economic and technical commitments are able to fascinate me. Below are a selection of past and current projects.
The Young Entrepreneurs Club (YEC) at the University of St. Gallen was founded in summer 2013. The YEC aims to promote entrepreneurship at the university. The club is divided into three main projects: social, ventures and hub. More information about the club and the projects can be found on www.yechsg.ch and on the Facebookpage.
During high-school , I participated in the YES project. Even after the project I am doing volunteer assignments and thus support the budding young entrepreneurs. From September 2012 to November 2013 I was also part of the YES Alumni Board (IT department ) and had the unique opportunity to help shaping the future of the Alumni Association. www.yes-alumni.ch
Because of my technical interest, the development of websites began very early. Through learning by doing, I was quickly able to build attractive websites without programming skills. A project for a veterinary clinic consisted a completely new website, combined with a social media campaign on Facebook (www.praxiskerzers.ch) . Dark Horse Photography by Ewa Lanz is another website that I created (www.darkhorse.ch).
In high school, due to the focus on Economy & Law, I got the chance to be part of a self- founded, real young company. We developed our own product (cell phone holder), organized the production and then sold it through various sales channels. We have had great success and made it to the national competition. In addition to the office of Vice-CEO, I was responsible for IT and also for production. You can find more information on our old website here.
Today, social media provide an interactive exchange between companies and customers, but also within an association and its members. Already during the project year at Teneo social media channels were used. As already mentioned, I have developed a tailored social media concept for the veterinary clinic in Kerzers (CH) as well. The independently developed social media skills have been used for YES alumni (pictured right).
The planning and execution of different trips for a smaller group pleases me a lot. During planning these trips many challenges arise: of creating a budget, about finding the best prices and finding the correct response to unexpected events while traveling.
